Ping Golf Irons

Ping Leading Manufacturer of Quality Irons

Ping is a leading manufacturer of golf products for over 50 years.  They are a family owned company that offers the most extensive club fitting process in golf.  Ping has produced some of the best irons in golf that tour players to high handicap players have used for years.  They have six different irons in the product line to fit golfers of different ability levels.  Ping recently discontinued the popular Rhapsody line specific to women golfers.  The new Faith line was recently released to very good reviews.

Amateurs often make the mistake of not playing clubs custom fit for their swing. Ping is the leader in custom fit golf equipment. In the custom fitting process the clubs lie angle, length, shaft flex and shaft type match the players swing. The fitting process will also make sure you are playing the proper clubs for your game. The irons offer different levels of forgiveness, feel, control, head size and appearance. The fitting process will match these factors to help determine the correct iron for your game. Find an authorized Ping dealer to purchase Ping irons. Due to Ping pricing policies, not all golf retail stores have the ability to sell Ping products.

Many bigger golf stores such as Edwin Watts and Golf Galaxy will have Ping irons.  On the Internet at Amazon are great sources. They are reliable, have good delivery and return policies. In addition, their websites on the internet will also offer the ability to purchase Ping irons online. However, if you purchase products through the internet, you can not get fit for your equipment.

Visit your local golf course and get custom fit by the PGA Professional on staff. It should not cost any extra money to purchase custom fit equipment. The equipment is special ordered form Ping and normally takes seven to ten days to receive the clubs. Ping has strict policies when it comes to the pricing of their products. Accounts caught selling products under predetermined prices that Ping sets could lose their account.  Therefore, Ping prices should be very similar anywhere you see Ping products for sale.  The price of the irons depends on the set make up. Combo sets that include hybrids and irons with graphite shafts could run approximately $1100 while basic game improvement irons with steel shafts could cost approximately $700.  These prices are based on eight irons. Adding graphite shafts typically adds $100 to the price of irons.
