Ping Faith Review

Over the past 15 years, Ping has been one of my top 3 sellers in ladies golf equipment. When my wife took the game up a few years ago, I naturally fit her into something that would help her game, the ladies Ping G5 irons and woods. This year, I became a Ping staff member, and my only regret is not making this switch years ago. It is not a coincidence my equipment had a big part to do with some of my success this past year.

Ping has recently phased out the popular women’s Rhapsody line. To replace the Rhapsody, Ping released the new Faith line. Generally, a new product line is introduced every two years. The Rhapsody line was very successful and Ping kept it around for 3 years. The Faith line has been anxiously anticipated by those in the business and women looking for new equipment.

FAITHDRIVER.jpgThe Ping Faith Driver is offered in a 12 and 14 degree loft driver. The club is designed to produce longer and straighter shots for slower swing speeds. The club has a 460 cc head, the maximum size allowed by the USGA. The stock shaft is the ULT 200 ladies graphite. The MSRP is $280.

The Faith fairway woods include a 3, 5, 7 and 9 wood. The stock shaft is a ULT 200 ladies graphite. The MSRP is $200 per club.

faith irons.jpgThe set features a 5 and 6 hybrid, and 7 iron through pitching wedge, utility wedge and sand wedge. The irons have a wide sole to create a deep center of gravity to produce more forgiving and higher trajectory golf shots. The stock shaft is the ULT 200 ladies graphite with a MSRP of $112.50 per iron.

The available Faith putters include the Anser, Craz-E and Wack-E. The Anser sells for $130 while the Craz-E and Wack-E sell for $160.

faithbag.jpgThere is also a Ping Lady Faith Cart Bag. The bag is tailored to women and weighs less than 5.5 pounds. It is available in three different colors, black and wine berry, plaid, and wine berry and white. The bag sells for $165.

If you are searching for some new golf equipment give this set a try. With Ping’s reputation and my personal experience, I have no problem endorsing any product in Ping’s golf product line.
