I know not everyone lives near a golf course, but we do and most of the golfers here have their own golf car (cart).

I have seen some fancier models with all the bells and whistles and they can go as far as 60 miles on a charge.  A friend of mine has a stereo, a radar detector (they give golf carts tickets here), a cooler, a heater/fan, and bucket seats.

Personally, I have a Par Car.  It is electric and has a medium range, about 30 miles on one charge.  We have the model with a back seat for friends when they come to visit or a place for the dog to ride.  I believe that the gas carts can get over 200 miles per tank.

Do any of you have personal golf carts?

I’ve seen people who transform their actual car into a golf cart, I must say it’s pretty darn cool! I saw a four door chevy chrysler got transform into a golf cart in the Philippines. What they did was, they got rib of all the doors and make the trunk into a those standard golf stand. It’s really good! *The guy was driving around and showing off his GOLF cart.

I also found the Chrysley’s Peapod car to be a cool drive. It’s not exactly a golf cart that you would see one the course * even tho I would love to see one on the course soon* Oh and you need an iPod or iPhone to start the car! So perhaps some music while we play? What do you guys think?

I was doing research… and turn out there’s actually a bunch of different models and brands electric car out there. Maybe we should decorate and transform some of those electric car into a golf cart. most are ranging from $3000-5000. sounds like a pretty good deal to me, consider that when you roll out with your golf cart everyone is gonna WOW :) I might consider getting on soon…as soon as I saved up enough money on the side to go FANCY!
