Golf Vacations

The winter months are very slow for most PGA Professionals. The weather is miserable, and we miss playing the golf course as much as you. If you have an opportunity to take a golf trip, the winter months could be an ideal time to make plans.

I suggest talking with your local professional, he or she will have numerous offers to take members and customers on golfing vacations. These trips could offer a competitive or social opportunity to break up the boring winter months. There are many companies that offer golf packages. I constantly receive mail and emails about golf destination trips, some of them are Pro-Am events, while others are group packages.

The destinations offer all different price levels. Las Vegas consistently offers different Pro-Am options. One of the latest email offers I received was a destination at the TPC at Sawgrass in Florida, or Las Vegas Monte Carlo Resort and Paiute Golf Resort, while you stay at Ceasars Palace. International options are also avaialbe. I constantly receive offers from Cabo San Lucas and Cancun, just to name a few in Mexico.

If you are interested in other destinations, there is always Ireland, Scotland, etc. The possibilities are endless. If you are interested in taking advantage of these great deals, please talk to your local PGA Professional, they will know what and where to take any interested groups. Please take a look at some of the websites who offer different travel destination packages.
